Through her consulting firm, Alta Financial Services Inc, Rita sells a myriad of products and services such as life insurance, disability and critical illness protection, annuities, RRSPs, mutual funds, business partnership insurance, estate planning but her specialty truly is group insurance.
She began her career at London Life in 1973 where she got a taste of the insurance industry as a whole but her love for group insurance began when she took on a customer service role at Canada Life in 1996. Two years later she moved on to work as a service representative for Great-West Life where she continued to excel in helping employers benefit from their group insurance package. She became renowned in her team for building strong client loyalty through efficient use of her technical skills and relationship building qualities.
In 2005, she became an independent financial security advisor where she was able to combine her experience in servicing and ability in sales. Having worked with businesses as small as 2 employees to businesses as large at 1000 employees, she is able to respond to diversified scenarios within the group insurance market.
